QUESTION- DO YOU COME TO ME OR DO I COME TO YOU FOR MAKEUP & HAIR SERVICES?
We are a freelance service team, so we come to you for all makeup and hair services on your wedding day. You get to wake up, relax, and get glam, without the hassle of driving anywhere! Please keep in mind that anytime we travel to you, there may be a travel fee. Travel fees are .60 cents per mile, per way, per artist. Typically, previews are done at your artist(s) studio.
QUESTION- DO YOU OFFER MAKEUP & HAIR PREVIEWS BEFORE THE EVENT?
Yes! I always recommend doing a preview prior to your event, that way we know exactly the look you want to achieve. A makeup & hair preview makes the day of, go much more smoothly. Typically, a makeup preview lasts anywhere from 1- 1.5 hours and a hair preview can take approximately 60 to 75 minutes.
QUESTION- DO I HAVE TO BOOK BOTH HAIR AND MAKEUP SERVICES WITH YOU?
Not at all! It's your special day so do whatever you are comfortable with. You can book both hair and makeup, or just hair or just makeup. Also, if you do book both hair and makeup, not everyone in your bridal party is required to do both.
QUESTION- IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF SERVICES I NEED TO BOOK?
Yes, we do have a minimum. If you are booking either hair or makeup, there is a minimum of 5 services that are required to book. If you are booking both hair and makeup, you need at least 8 services to book. Makeup= 1 service, Hair= 1 service.
QUESTION-HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING?
I recommend booking your wedding date anywhere from 6-12 months in advance. Especially if your wedding is in the busier months, May-November.
QUESTION- DO YOU OFFER AIRBRUSH MAKEUP?
We do! Not all makeup artists provide the service so just let me know if that is something you are interested in so I can pair you up with the perfect makeup artist!
QUESTION- HOW LONG DOES EACH SERVICE TAKE?
We provide a luxury service, so no matter how "simple" a look may appear, it does take time. I schedule approximately 50 minutes for bridesmaids for one service and an hour per service, for the bride. We also must account for setup time in the beginning and time for touch-ups at the end. We recommend looking into time restrictions at your venue. Due to many venues having restrictions, we often get our clients' ready off-site, at a hotel or AirBnb.
QUESTION- CAN I REQUEST MY ARTIST?
Yes, you certainly can. Typically, I try to pair you with an artist as close to your venue as possible, so that we can avoid a large travel fee. If you like a specific artist, please let me know and I can check their availability.
QUESTION- CAN I ADD ON MORE SERVICES AFTER I'VE ALREADY BOOKED?
Yes, you can always add services. However, it is better to know exactly how many services you need prior to signing your contract so that I can ensure the correct number of artists you'll need. Due to high demand, we cannot guarantee that we will have other artists to come on and assist your wedding. We can still accommodate the additional services, we just may need to start much earlier if we cannot bring on another artist(s).
QUESTION- WHAT TYPES OF PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
All artists have their own, individual kits and their holy grail products. We can guarantee that all artists use luxury brand and salon quality products and tools. Some brands you will see in our kits are: Kenra. Big Sexy Hair, Kevin Murphy, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, MAC, Makeup Forever, Dior, ABH, Patrick Ta, Makeup by Mario and many more.
